With around 17,500 islands, of which around 6,000 are inhabited, Indonesia is by far the largest island nation in the world. With currently around 275 million inhabitants, Indonesia is the fourth most populous nation in the world after China, India and the USA. Indonesia is one of the largest rainforest areas in the world.
Due to the geographical location on both sides of the equator, Indonesia has a very tropical climate with monsoon winds that bring a dry climate with little rain from June to September and humid air masses and a lot of precipitation from December to March. It is usually an extremely heavy downpour, which is usually quickly over.
Our brand new small facility opened in December 2019. Unfortunately, we had to close it in mid-March 2020 due to the Corona Pandemic. No tourists were allowed in Bali until the end of 2021. Since the beginning of 2022, you can enter again as a tourist with conditions. According to official Balinese figures, only 595 tourists had arrived by 15 March 2022.
We have decided to reopen Jungle Paradise from April 2022, as the entry conditions are being relaxed more and more.
Since 01.04.2022 there are further entry relaxations in Bali. The quarantine obligation has been lifted. In the meantime, quarantine-free entry is now even possible via other international airports such as Jakarta or Manado. In addition, the PCR test on the third day has been cancelled.
However, the following are still required:
The Visa on Arrival (approx. 35,- Euro) is still only available for entry via Bali. It is valid for 30 days with an option to extend for another 30 days. However, this visa is not yet made available to all countries. Initially, the list included 13 countries, but now it has been extended to 42. Besides many European countries such as France, Great Britain, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, Germany and many others, Switzerland is now also on the list. We are convinced that it is only a matter of time that countries like the USA and Austria will be included.

The bungalows are ready for occupancy from 1 pm on the day of arrival. On the day of departure we ask you to vacate the bungalows by 11 am.
In the smaller Indonesian islands, including Nusa Penida, the internet is not yet well developed. That is why we have built our own 30 meter high reception tower for our guests. So we can guarantee the best reception on Nusa Penida. WiFi is of course free of charge on the entire system.
There are still a lot of facilities on Nusa Penida without hot water and with very low water pressure. Jungle Paradise is groundbreaking for the future and has both hot water and exceptionally high water pressure. Since we pump the water ourselves from a depth of approx. 150 meters, we can guarantee a drinking water quality.
There are enough free parking spaces available.
For security reasons, smoking is not allowed in the bungalows. We ask you to enjoy the cigarette outdoors. Smoking is of course allowed on your own terrace in front of the bungalows, by the pool and in our open restaurant with a view of the jungle.
In order to finally fix the booking, a deposit of 30% is required under normal circumstances.
This does not apply due to the special situation around Covid-19. The booking is binding until further notice, even without a deposit. During these special times we also accept a cancellation up to 1 day before arrival. Without any further obligation for our guests. We take on the entire risk.
Payment is made at the latest 7 days before arrival. At this point it should be clear whether the journey can be started. You will receive the bank details and the intended use in good time.
If the arrival is unclear at this point due to travel restrictions, payment in cash on site is also possible as an exception. If payment has already been made and arrival is still not possible, the full amount will be refunded immediately.
